The Star Trek Prop Authority blog has posted five galleries of incredibly cool, candid shots of the original Star Trek cast on-set back in the '60s. (The fun starts here.) It's really striking how happy everybody looks. For a show with such a famously troubled production, it sure looks like there was a lot of clowning around. And there is just something so perfect about this shot of Shatner-as-Kirk striking a pimp daddy pose with a crazy '60s muscle car. (The color even matches his uniform!) The site offers an all-you-can-eat buffet of Trek nerd deliciousness, including this DIY guide to transforming your garage into the bridge of the original Enterprise.(Link swiped from Metafilter.)
